Securities Capital Corporation is the oldest African-American owned investment banking firm in the United States. Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, Securities Capital Corporation actively offers various investment products and services. 


Securities Capital Corporation's core function Is to allow financial markets access to any person who desires to invest and learn. Ultimately, a part of Securities Capital Corporation's mission is to close the investment knowledge and participation gaps present in the African-American community.


Securities Capital Corporation has proactively worked its mission by formulating strategies to reach undeserved communities. These strategies included sponsoring and participating in more than 100 seminars and workshops throughout Alabama; hosting educational seminars throughout the state; teaching the stock market in Birmingham Public Schools; hosting its Annual Stock Market Round Table and later adding broader coverage through Alabama Public Television and its "Take Stock in Alabama" investment fair.

Through consultation, communication and education, our goal is to make sure our customers have the necessary tools to become competent investors and active participants in making the best business and personal finance decisions.

  • Past involvement in the Birmingham Public School System. Through an investment program, the company taught investments and sponsored the first investment awards banquet
